(1) Air filter

The combustion of fuel in the engine requires fresh air. The air filter can remove the dust and other foreign matters in the air sucked into the combustion chamber from the outside, so as to prevent the engine cylinder liner and piston ring from wearing.

(2) Oil and fuel filter

Oil and fuel oil are easy to mix with moisture and dust during storage and refueling. The filter filters foreign material and prevents wear of system components inside the engine. In addition, if the pollution of these filter elements is serious, it will lead to the failure of poor flow of oil or fuel, insufficient engine power or poor lubrication, resulting in engine damage.

(3) Hydraulic oil filter

The function of hydraulic oil is to transform the medium of power, so it is strictly prohibited to mix dust and other foreign matters. The hydraulic oil filter can prevent impurities from entering all parts of the hydraulic device.

In addition, the oil suction filter is installed in the hydraulic oil tank to protect the hydraulic pump in the hydraulic circuit. Therefore, it can be judged whether the pump or other parts of the hydraulic system are in abnormal state by observing the pollution degree of the return oil filter (if there is iron chips).

If the contaminated filter is not replaced in time, the flow of oil will be reduced and the original performance of the machine will not be fully developed. Therefore, the filter element should be replaced regularly, and it should be replaced immediately if any abnormality is found in the routine maintenance and inspection.

Add enough oil and grease to prevent the machine from wearing

During the operation of hydraulic excavator, there will be great friction force in all parts of the machine. Grease and oil can reduce these friction, because grease can form oil film and prevent the metal parts of rotating parts from contacting each other.

Filling oil and grease is an important job, which is mainly to reduce friction and wear, and make the machine run smoothly. However, if the oil is not enough or the deteriorated grease is added, the oil film will not be formed and the metal parts will contact with each other, resulting in wear and occlusion. If the machine continues to operate in this state, it will cause the burning of the matching parts of the moving parts of the machine, and will fall into the shutdown state in serious cases.
